It is a device suitable for measuring the density (true specific gravity/density) of solid and powder samples. It is a gas pycnometer system that measures in accordance with the Archimedes' fluid overflow principle and the gas displacement principle according to Boyle's law. The instrument uses high purity Helium gas, measurements are with maximum accuracy (±0.03% + within 0.03% of sample volume) and repeatability (within ±0.02% of volume over the entire range).
